Jason Hewitt

Pipe Fitting Superintendent

Jason has over 20 years of experience in the Pipe Fitting industry. He started as a helper and after a few short months, Jason was accepted into the 5-year Pipe Fitter Apprenticeship program. Upon completing the program at the top of his class, Jason went straight into running work as a foreman/general foreman. This position included managing manpower, writing &/or helping to conform schedules to incorporate pipefitting work, coordinating work with other trades, logistics of equipment delivery as well as writing pick plans/rigging plans to get the equipment to its final resting place.
Jason is a firm believer in the importance of giving back to his community. He has spent time as the reading clerk for UA Local 32, was elected to the Executive Board, & has sat on various committees such as apprentice interviews & the health & welfare trust. In addition, Jason has taught at the JATC. From 2015-2018 he was a Local 32 Business Agent where he represented the membership, participated in contract negotiations & continued to reinforce the value of all relationships within the trades. This experience gave Jason a unique viewpoint within the business side of things.
Jason started with Holmberg Mechanical in 2019 and has been working collaboratively with all departments to bring a new perspective to the Pipe Fitting side of Holmberg. He is very focused on fabrication as it is a crucial part of Pipe Fitting and will help with increasing efficiencies as a whole.
